For this character, I really wanted to push for a high-glamour look. I was inspired by the incredibly clean, smooth skin textures of Lindsay Wagner in Death Stranding, so I focused on keeping the pores and imperfections very subtle. I decided to hand-sculpt the head from scratch rather than using a 3D scan, refining the features over several passes until I felt just right, then layered in skin scan data for the final surface detail.
Since the game has a sci-fi vibe, I got to design the suit based on Marvel's comic references. I was thrilled when they approved 95% of the design on the first pass—the only minor note was to add a bit more coverage to the back. We originally went with her signature green hair and suit, but Marvel eventually decided to switch things up to red for the final look.
