Small freelance VFX work alongside my full-time Game character artist role. My task included three boat variations for VFX shots, plus texturing and look dev. The scene featured a digital double of John Travolta and a few others on the boat.
Since most shots were wide-angle with heavy water coverage, neither the boats nor the characters were meant for close-ups. I still enjoyed the challenge. Learning real boat shapes and engine structures on my own time, as references were limited and the engines were underwater. I also helped with last-minute helicopter texturing and look dev
