Key Art - Marvel Heroes Omega (2017)

In 2017, I had the honor of working on Marvel key art at Gazillion, even as a junior artist. I was incredibly excited, as key art is typically assigned to more senior artists. The key art went through many revisions with both our director and Marvel Studios—especially around composition, poses, and VFX. Each character needed to feel unique yet heroic. I manually posed every hero, corrected rig deformations, and handled lighting. I’ve been passionate about dynamic posing since university, so I truly enjoyed the process. At the time, Marmoset did not support render passes or multiple lighting scenarios, so I rendered each hero individually to avoid light bleeding and kept each render in separate layers for compositing in Photoshop. I then retouched the images to produce a final 12K piece.
