Small freelance work in a short time beside my full-time character artist.
My task was 3 variation boats for VFX shots - texturing - Look Dev. Digital human John Travolta and few others on the boat.
There will be a lot of water so those boats won't never closeup as well as John Travolta.
I had fun because I had to learn actual the boat shape and the engine on my personal time. All reference I got is 1/2 on top. They were in wide angle lens and engine was under water so I had to do research how the engine work and shapes as well.
At the last minute they needed quick texturing and look dev the helicopter as well.
